The organizers love tango, as much as they love good coffee, good food, good wine and nice accommodation that is close to all the actions in a metropolitan city like Toronto. The Tango8Fest team is happy to make your tango adventure in Toronto a fabulous one.
We didn't receive any benefit by recommending these places, they are either tried and trusted by us or Toronto Tango Community, or are goodies we found online.
It is CAD$3 every trip, connecting all the subway trains, buses & streetcar. When taking TTC, remember to take a transfer ticket upon paying or using a token. You will need that in order to change to different vehicles.
Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ)
You can walk to downtown through underground tunnel. Or enjoy a short ferry ride, or take a free shuttle bus to downtown Union Station. From there these locations, you are only $10 taxi ride to venue, or 8 minutes by subway to Queen's Park station.
From Pearson Airport
Look for a TTC sign in the Arrival Halls. From Terminal 1 Terminal 3 you can take the Airport Rocket Bus #192 going to Kipling Subway station. Pay $3 on bus, get the Transfer Ticket when paying and continue your journey from Kipling Station to downtown Spadina Station, keep the transfer and change to 510 streetcar to get off at Nassau Street. Walk into Cecil St. on the left for 2 blocks and Beverley Halls is right there on the corner of St. George and Beverley St.
From Metro Toronto Bus Terminal
The Metro Toronto Bus Termianl is located on Bay St. at the north of Dundas. You can simple take Dundas streetcar all the way to Beverley Street. Turn right and walk along Beverley St. until Cecil St., you will find us on the corner.
There are plenty of free parking spots under the Beverley Halls and adjacent parking lot (with permit). Street parking is free on Beverley St. after 9pm till 6am. You should also be able to find a lot of paid parking on Dundas St., and Baldwin St., paid cover parking on Huron St. & College St.
FOR THE COFFEE LOVERS
The Lattes are are strong and chocolaty, and they do have a few locations near the venue in downtown. All of them furnished with vintage furniture and is one of the most cozy place to brew your "Tangover" away.

Well...of course there is Starbucks.It is just half a one block away. You can see it from the entrance of venue.

What a coincident! The boutique named HOTEL OCHO is right on Spadina & Suilivan, a short walk away from Tango8Fest. Beautiful space with nice restaurant and bar on ground floor. And we go there every other Sunday for fresh draft beer from tap, it's only $5!!

Weather is still nice in November and you can walk or take a small streetcar ride all the way to see the beautiful lake, now full of concerts, a beach, a music garden, art shows and more...
