2021 TANGO ESCENARIO WORLD CHAMPIONS

Yanina Muzyka and Emmanuel Casal won the 2021 Tango BA World Championship in the Tango Escenario category, bringing together technical precision, musical sensitivity and a distinctive creative voice.

Their dancing is known for impeccable technique without losing freedom. They combine strong control, clarity and balance with playful communication, fluid movement and the ability to make highly developed material feel spontaneous rather than mechanical.

Their work also reaches beyond stage tango. In their teaching, they emphasize connection, communication and creative play while preserving the essence of tango as a social dance. That combination gives dancers tools not only to execute movements well, but to improvise, adapt and respond to the music and to each other.

Over years of dancing and teaching together, Yanina & Emmanuel have developed a recognizable approach: sensitive, technically sophisticated, musical and free. Their performances can be precise and spectacular, yet their teaching remains grounded in the relationship between two dancers and the possibilities that emerge inside the embrace.
